Welcome to Gareth Richards – Our NEW Managing Director

We’re pleased to announce that Gareth Richards has joined Welfare 4 Hire as our new Managing Director, effective 21st July 2025.

Gareth brings with him nearly two decades of experience in the equipment rental sector, having held senior leadership roles across some of the industry's most respected businesses, including Mabey Hire, Sunbelt Rentals and Altrad RMD Kwikform. Most recently, he led a successful transformation of a standalone monitoring division at Mabey Hire - reshaping teams, rebuilding key relationships and driving rapid commercial turnaround.

Now, he steps into Welfare 4 Hire at a time of increasing momentum, following a strong period of growth and development. His appointment signals the next chapter for the business, as we continue to scale our operations and reinforce our position as a trusted partner for towable hire across the UK.

Gareth’s leadership style is shaped by a blend of commercial acumen, operational know-how and a people-first approach. His focus will be on further strengthening our service standards, supporting the growth of our teams and ensuring we continue to lead the way in safety, compliance and customer service.
